The mission of Christie Lea Thompson, family law or divorce and child custody paralegal and mediator, as ChristieLegal LLC, is to help clients who have a divorce and/or child custody case in Minnesota courts through the court process in a collaborative and affordable way that will improve the lives of her clients and, if applicable, their child(ren) by 1) educating them about their options for resolving those legal issues, 2) helping them resolve their legal issues in a less conflictual way by encouraging the clients to negotiate during mediation, 3) writing their court documents, and 4) helping the parties through the amicable, joint divorce and/or child custody case court process. In other words, ChristieLegal’s mission is to help both parties divorce reasonably and/or handle a child custody case reasonably!

ChristieLegal’s office hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 7 pm and Friday from 7 am to 6 pm and by appointment only.

How To Obtain Divorce and/or Child Custody Paralegal and Mediator Services

  1. Please schedule a 30 minutes FREE consultation with Christie by using ChristieLegal’s Calendly tool, https://calendly.com/christielegalmn , or by emailing Christie your availability to meet during the next 10 days at christie@christielegal.net. Please tell her that you’re in need of help with a divorce and/or child custody case, if the other party is or might be willing to handle the situation with you and a paralegal mediator, and how well you and the other party are getting along.

  2. During the FREE consultation, please ask ChristieLegal questions about the divorce and/or child custody case court process and how ChristieLegal would help both parties handle the situation and provide information about your situation.

  3. Please provide ChristieLegal with the signed Agreement document, the down payment of $1,000, and the Questionnaire completed to the best of both clients’ abilities.
